Grand Master Ken Ramirez

9th degree black belt | certified yogi

Ken Ramirez has been a Kajukenbo Martial Arts Practitioner since 1972 and currently holds the rank of 9th degree Black Belt. He and his wife, Dee (8th degree Black Belt), have been actively teaching their art since 2007 in Vacaville, CA, the home of Ramirez Martial Arts. RMA is a community and family based program that encourages discipline, respect, humility and love for ohana (Hawaiian for "family").

Ken’s first introduction to yoga was over 10 years ago in a Bikram yoga class, and he loved the idea of practicing in a 100+ degree studio. He was instantly hooked on practicing yoga and inspired to incorporate some of the principles into his martial arts teaching. Ken has always been interested in becoming a certified instructor. He has completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and is ready to teach.

Professor Dee Ramirez

8th degree black belt | certified yogi

When I started karate at the age of 12 with "Crazy Dragons" of Fremont, CA,   I never knew one day I would marry someone who has inspired me to do great things.  I have always known Kajukenbo Karate has taught me strength, discipline, and most of all, faith in what I have done, and what I was to do.  Kajukenbo's style influenced me to want to teach my own children, enabling me to open a dojo.  We are now "Ramirez Martial Arts" of Vacaville.  I have the honor to influence young children, teens and adults the same skills that will bring them success in life.  I am humbled and proud to do this with the partnership of my husband Grand Master Ken Ramirez, along with our support of our children.  I want to thank all families and friends in supporting & believing in me, I love you all.
